I normally interview for 5-10 minutes and in that time frame, people usually share so many different stories that are very interesting and inspiring. Most of my time for this project is not used for the interview, but for deciding which piece I should share with the rest of the community. I usually pick a story that the Emma community can feel or learn something. I go over my notes and recording so many times before I can feel confident about which piece I should choose. However, this tells me that there are so many things that I didn't know about that person and after the interview, it makes me want to spend more time with them.
